For the Mäspoma brand, we have created and currently manage the packaging design for over 300 SKUs. Our confident packaging design from the early days of the company’s rebranding still holds up very well today. Its bold geometry and bold colours have proven to be timeless. All new product lines follow the basic characteristic elements of this design.

The brand is able to respond flexibly to the ever-changing needs of the market and has therefore introduced several new products this year. The agency has developed a new design that is based on the Mäspoma brand, but at the same time carries subtle changes that make it modern.

For the set of new products, we decided to create separate product lines that are clearly different in their packaging, even though they were launched at the same time. The first range is the barbecue seasoning. The dark packaging respects current trends and local consumer culture. The biggest challenge was photography and foodstyling. The whole series of photographs was taken in our studio. The meat on the grill was individually lit from underneath, for the effect of highlighting the outline and capturing the fidelity of the light as it grills. We also paid attention to the details in the foodstyling of the dips and salads, as photography was an important part of the design of this packaging.
