When designing the packaging for the Budiš functional water range, we focused on the need to clearly define the product within a fast-paced retail environment while simultaneously positioning it within the contemporary lifestyle segment. The design is built around bold typography and a clear information hierarchy that allows consumers to instantly understand the product’s key benefit. The differentiation of individual variants (BOOST, RECOVER) is achieved through strong color coding and clearly defined functions, improving consumer orientation directly at the point of sale.

The label design combines the rational aspect of functional benefits with visual freshness and accessibility. We work with a contrast between “technical” information (electrolytes, vitamins, active ingredients) and natural fruit motifs that communicate the product’s flavor and natural character. The transparent blue PET bottle plays an important role in the overall brand perception — reinforcing associations of purity, hydration, and visual lightness, while also increasing shelf appeal through the way it interacts with light.

From a design system perspective, we created a modular packaging design that allows the product range to expand easily without losing visual consistency. The defined layout, typographic principles, and color logic ensure that every new variant naturally integrates into the portfolio. The result is a cohesive and scalable label design that supports the long-term brand building of Budiš within the functional water segment.
